When in Miami.

It's easy, and rightfully so, to spend hours sitting on the beach or getting lost poolside in Miami.  We did manage to venture out though!  Here are some of my favorite discoveries:
The Design District: This is a must for all those who love art, fashion and design. Chic as it is playful, be sure to leave the beach for a moment to get some artistic inspiration.
1 Hotel: We loved the 1 Hotel!  The adorable mini-trailer bar just outside of the hotel served up the best cocktails! The pools are amazing and the beach is even better.  1Hotels have a sustainable, green and mindful philosophy that drives every part of this amazing brand.
Cafe Versailles: The iconic Cuban restaurant that has been open since 1971.
Key BiscayneJust over Rickenbacker Causeway lies the barrier island of Key Biscayne home to Cranston Park and Cape Florida State Park.  The parks feel as if you're stepping into a bit of old Florida.  The 19th century Cape Florida Light House is a must-see.
