My family and I spent the Fourth of July with friends in Middleburg, VA. It’s a postcard perfect town and has become one of my favorite places to visit. Southern hospitality abounds and the people there are as lovely as the landscape. There are wonderful and picturesque towns throughout northern Virginia, and I loved exploring the area. These are some of my favorites!!!
Red Fox Inn is the oldest building in town (since 1728) and perfect for a weekend getaway or a romantic dinner. Surrounded by darling boutiques, a stay at the Red Fox is the perfect place to stay for a Virginia getaway.
Find endless antique treasures at the Middleburg Antique Emporium as you get lost amongst old china, furniture and costume jewelry. You are bound to find something that fits your fancy.
The rooms at the Little Washington hotel are beyond majestic. The comfiest beds, luxurious baths, and a two-star Michelin rated restaurant, this is better than any home away from home.
On a diet? Me too. Save a cheat day and stop by this bakery. Scones, croissants, pies ... it's delicious!
Stop by Field and Main for a fine dining experience. There are great vegetarian options and it's kid friendly.
Gum and Tree farm has a poetic approach to their craft. They create homegrown and handmade luxurious wool pieces for you and your home.
